Today for my blog I am going to show you some of my favorite new products that have just hit the shelves in the stores in your area.
Barbara Lloyd has an Anniversary Collection that is proving to be a wonderful way to congratulate or celebrate anniversary milestones.
Many of our local students, administrators, staff members, and educators will be heading back to the classroom and hitting the books this week.
Here’s a peek at a brand new “teacher” item coming this January! It reads:
“Heaven help me to teach good study habits, a love of learning, but mostly help me make it ’til June!”

Here we are in the middle of the 2011 summer show season and has it ever been HOT!
When I arrived in Atlanta and was instantly hit with the stifling heat and humidity, I could not help but think of the winter show. In January, the city was hit with an unbelievable ice storm (right before the show) that pretty much shut down everything. The weather certainly went from one extreme to the other!
There has been no escaping the heat this summer; after leaving Atlanta I headed to the Philadelphia show. There were record breaking temperatures during the set up days which always makes unloading the truck a treat ! I am attending one more show this summer – in Las Vegas! It’s never hot in the desert in August, right???
Speaking of Las Vegas…check out our new collection of gambling bugs (coming in 2012)!

Hello there…. Greetings from Atlanta!
Tomorrow will end the July Atlanta Summer show. We have seen old friends, made new ones, suffered through extreme heat, eaten two 45 oz. bags of M&M’s (Todd’s favorite), served tons of popcorn (per Barb, if you mix the popcorn with the M&M’s it is sheer delight)….discovered a new favorite cookie, Oatmeal Butterscotch (just ask Natalie)…………………………….and the most important part – shared our new 2012 product with scores of customers!!!
If you were not able to attend the Gift Show in Atlanta we still have a few more on the calendar before summer’s end. You will not want to miss out on our new product and our fabulous show special. I have a secret to tell you!
This summer we are testing a new product line called Giggle-its, and they are as fun as they sound.
Working ahead always sounds like a great idea, but there are a few instances in which it can be a lot more difficult than it sounds.
At Blossom Bucket, Inc. it’s a constant balancing act between working in “real time,” “retailer time,” and “distributor time.”
Right now is a perfect example. In real time, we’re taking orders so that customers can keep their shelves stocked with gifts for all occasions throughout the summer.
In the Northern Hemisphere, summer solstice begins on June 21st.
Summer means longer days, warmer weather, the beach, fireflies at night, flip-flops, sunscreen, and for those of us in the gift industry it also brings “summer show season”!
Customers attending our summer shows can restock their shelves with best-selling everyday items, make sure they are fully geared up on Fall and Christmas product, check out our largest ever November introductions, and can also take advantage of great incentives on new and exciting Spring 2012 product.
