It has been so busy at Blossom Bucket this month!  As Christmas in March is winding down,  it is not yet officially over.

We’re still celebrating Christmas in March, and this week we have a very “spirited” DIY project!  Perfect as host or hostess gift, the Christmas wine basket is sure to be appreciated!

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • •crinkle paper
  • •bottle of wine or other bottled beverage

  • •green tool or organdy ribbon

Catch the Christmas in March Spirit at Our Open House!

Christmas in March logoIt’s very hard to write a blog entry about Christmas when it is 70 degrees outside and the cherry trees are blooming.  I am sure it is even harder to actually order Christmas product for your store in the spring when your mind is far away from jingle bells and freezing temperatures.

Hi, Happy Friday, Merry Christmas in March!

Growing up, getting the Christmas tree was something that I both looked forward to, and dreaded. My mom would make us hike for hours (literally) in the cold and snow, until she found that perfect tree. By the time she found it, we usually had covered the entire tree farm two or three times. My youngest brother would be crying and throwing sticks, my middle brother would be sulking and trying to walk away from us, and I would be frozen and yelling at my parents. Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like three screaming kids, right?

Christmas in March logoBefore I started on my journey to license my artwork and designs, I enjoyed a career as a Marketing Director and Merchandiser in the gift industry.

Planning for Christmas started very early in the year. Everything had to be carefully planned and executed, from the choice of product to signage, display and promotion. We would create a theme for the upcoming Christmas and plan window and interior store displays around that theme.

Christmas in March – Goody Bag DIY

This is one of our easiest and inexpensive DIY projects yet!
Also, like many of our other projects, it’s extremely versatile, and can be easily adapted to any theme or holiday.  Just think how fun this would be as a shower favor or in an Easter basket!

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • cellophane bags
  • twist ties
  • multi-colored wrapped candies
  • curl ribbon
  • scissors
  • Your favorite Blossom Bucket ornament(s)
