We now have another company doing good works to add to our list: Acacia Creations. Acacia Creations offers handmade items by the women of Kenya and Uganda. Part of what makes their wares so incredibly unique is that many items, including jewelry and coasters, are made from recycled paper! As I mentioned in yesterday’s blog, sometimes it’s difficult to work months in advance, but we’ve practically got it down to an art form here at “The Bucket.” June is when we begin shipping harvest and Halloween, but July is when Thanksgiving merchandise starts moving out.
Working ahead always sounds like a great idea, but there are a few instances in which it can be a lot more difficult than it sounds.
At Blossom Bucket, Inc. it’s a constant balancing act between working in “real time,” “retailer time,” and “distributor time.”
Right now is a perfect example. In real time, we’re taking orders so that customers can keep their shelves stocked with gifts for all occasions throughout the summer.
Independence Day is just three weeks (+1 day) away!

Vacation season is here!
The next few months will be filled with families and friends gathering in fun places or private getaways to escape “real life” for a little while.
The beach is always a popular vacation destination, and houses that quiet for much of the year are suddenly host to visitors galore.
For the past few weeks, we’ve featured several items that will be available in our June and August lines.
On June 1st, you will finally have the opportunity to get a peek at brand new product lines for November!
Easily the most diverse November release we’ve ever had, it has a little something for everyone—farm animals, inspirational signs & blocks, additional collegiate items and customizable blocks, friendship items, display pieces, new additions to our Amish collection, night lights, and more! There’s just too much to list!
We’re officially halfway through the month of May (and it’s still raining…). The rain won’t stop the next round of holidays from arriving, though!
This Saturday, May 21st, is Armed Forces Day. Then, two weeks from today, May 30th, we celebrate Memorial Day. Just shy of three weeks after Memorial Day is Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, June 19th.
