Ring in the New!

Atlanta ShowroomJanuary is appropriately named after Janus, the God of the Doorway. For many, the door opens to New Year’s resolutions, to others it opens to new beginnings and promises, and to others it is a time to clean out the old to make way for the new. January at Blossom Bucket means much of the same. Winter Shows ring in the New Year with the opportunity to preview our exciting collections ready to fill shelves with fresh, new product. Showrooms and temporary show booths have been revamped to showcase this merchandise in fresh creative ways.

Let the doors open and the shows begin!

Already Preparing for Christmas 2012!

New for 2012! 128-85625Just one more day! I can’t believe how quickly the Christmas season has come upon us. At Blossom Bucket, we are working with Christmas product all year long, so sometimes when we’re in the middle of the holiday season, it’s easy to forget what time of year it is. In fact, I just spent the last week in our new showroom in Dallas setting up the 2012 Christmas display! The winter show season starts the first week of January, and we’ll be featuring our 2012 Harvest & Christmas lines at the various markets. Here’s a sneak peek of one of our new Christmas pieces that we’ll be introducing at the January shows.

Look for this item to arrive in stores next summer!

Welcome, December!

New Trade Shows!

I am looking forward to attending two new trade shows this season!

Blossom Bucket, Inc. will be exhibiting at the Smoky Mountain Gift Show November 4-7, 2011, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We are looking forward to introducing our 2012 product collection to a whole new group of retailers at this show. We will be featuring some of our most popular product categories, including: inspirational words and plaques, angels, Americana, bluebirds, frogs, a garden collection, Mother’s Day, and a wine collection. In addition, we will be showing our new black bear collection for the very first time at the Smoky Mountain Show!

Atlanta Showroom Update

I have just returned from helping redecorate our Atlanta Showroom. Every year or two, Cindy, the owner, completely guts the showroom and starts over – creating a whole new look for our customers. It is a daunting task and takes tons of creativity and time. This year will not disappoint all our customers who stop by AmericasMart Building 2-701! it is one amazing reformation full of surprises and new product.

This Summer Was Here and Gone!

Layout 1Labor Day is only about a week away, school is back in, and I have no idea where the summer went.  I am not even sure if I remember celebrating the 4th of July.

As we all know, time definitely doesn’t slow down for anyone or anything.

Around here it is time to shift gears from show stuff to warehouse sale because, even though it is 2 months away, we will blink and it will be here.  So let me be one of the first people to invite you to our annual Warehouse Sale the first weekend of November!

Have a good and safe Labor day, and hope to see you at the Warehouse Sale in November.

The Summer Shows are HOT!

Here we are in the middle of the 2011 summer show season and has it ever been HOT!

When I arrived in Atlanta and was instantly hit with the stifling heat and humidity, I could not help but think of the winter show.  In January, the city was hit with an unbelievable ice storm (right before the show) that pretty much shut down everything.  The weather certainly went from one extreme to the other!

There has been no escaping the heat this summer; after leaving Atlanta I headed to the Philadelphia show.  There were record breaking temperatures during the set up days which always makes unloading the truck a treat !  I am attending one more show this summer – in Las Vegas!  It’s never hot in the desert in August, right???

Speaking of Las Vegas…check out our new collection of gambling bugs (coming in 2012)!

Popcorn, M&M’s, Cookies, and Hot Weather!!!!

Hello there…. Greetings from Atlanta!

Tomorrow will end the July Atlanta Summer show.  We have seen old friends, made new ones, suffered through extreme heat, eaten two 45 oz. bags of M&M’s (Todd’s favorite), served tons of popcorn (per Barb, if you mix the popcorn with the M&M’s it is sheer delight)….discovered a new favorite cookie, Oatmeal Butterscotch (just ask Natalie)…………………………….and the most important part – shared our new 2012 product with scores of customers!!!

We’re Halfway Through 2011!

The 4th of July has come and gone, and I hope that everyone had a great holiday.

It’s hard to believe that we are halfway through 2011.  We are getting ready to get into the meat of our show season, so I hope you all have plans to attend one of the upcoming shows.  This month we have the Atlanta, Philadelphia and Chicago shows.

Continue enjoying the summer, but don’t forget to come and see us at one of the remaining shows.

Gearing Up for Atlanta!

Set of 8 Playful Pups - 1111-84778Now that July 4th has come and gone it is time to turn to the Atlanta Show.  Starting July 13th you can find me in the Atlanta Showroom from 8:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night.  The show will last until July 20th – until the last customer leaves our showroom.

I always enjoy the shows because I get to revisit with friends I only talk to on the phone throughout the year.  I get to meet new customers and establish new friendships.  I not only get to help the customer buy new product for their store, but I get to learn about their new grandbabies, hear their stories of accomplishment with their businesses, and let them know what Blossom Bucket is up to. It’s like a big reunion in the retail world!

If you are in the Atlanta area from July 13- 20 stop by and see us.  We will be in building 2 on the 7th floor – 701.  We’ll save a bag of popcorn for you!
