Now that we’re into the second week in January, it’s time to start thinking about Easter! This year, Easter will fall on April 8th.
This piece is one of my favorites! Designed by Barbara Lloyd, this piece is perfect!
What’s your favorite piece from our Easter collection? I’d love to hear about it!

Hi there, and Happy Friday!
Well, we’re one week into the New Year. Are you still sticking with your resolutions? Do you have all of your decorations taken down? I took my tree down the day after Christmas, and started to reorganize my attic while we were closed. It’s a sickness, but I love organizing and cleaning! Just ask my mother how many times I’ve tried to help her clean out her basement! Unfortunately, I like to clean like the TV shows – 3 second decisions and throwing away or keeping. It’s bad for people that want me to help them clean, but good for my own house. I hate clutter! That is one of my New Year’s resolutions: get rid of the clutter in my life. Drop the things that take up valuable time, clean out closets and dressers and cupboards, and whittle down to the basics.
What is your resolution? I’d love to hear them!
Have a great weekend,
Anne

January is appropriately named after Janus, the God of the Doorway. For many, the door opens to New Year’s resolutions, to others it opens to new beginnings and promises, and to others it is a time to clean out the old to make way for the new. January at Blossom Bucket means much of the same. Winter Shows ring in the New Year with the opportunity to preview our exciting collections ready to fill shelves with fresh, new product. Showrooms and temporary show booths have been revamped to showcase this merchandise in fresh creative ways.
Let the doors open and the shows begin!
Health, Happiness, and Prosperity in 2012!!

Happy New Year!! I can not believe 2012 is already here. It seems like just yesterday we were worried about the 2000 Y2K bug. Goodness do you remember that? I think I still have jugs of water stored in my basement.
Thankfully nothing like that is looming over us for 2012. I always enjoy celebrating the New Year because after Christmas everything is kind of dragging after all the excitement of gift giving so the New Year Celebration is a welcome event. Do you have any traditions that you follow every year? In my family we have stuck to the same ole traditions for years. On New Year’s Eve the kids and I stay up playing games or watching movies and eating junk until way after midnight. Then the next day we spend the day watching parades, enjoying football, and eating our typical New Year’s Day meal. We have always had some type of meat with collard greens and black eyed peas. My grandparents taught me to eat lots of greens and peas on the first day of the year to bring good luck and lots of money for the coming year (greens for dollar bills, and brown peas for pennies.) This has been our menu ever since I can remember!
What are the tried and true traditions that your family honors for New Years Day? I would love to hear them.

I hope everyone had a great New Year’s celebration! Our office is closed today for the official holiday, but we will resume normal business hours tomorrow, and we can’t wait to talk to you!
After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it is time to start thinking about a fresh look for your store. A new face lift, new displays, and new ways to draw customers in. We have created several new designs that you will be sure to love in this brand new year! One of my favorites is the “Words of Wisdom” collection designed by Ronnie Walter. This collection is sure to be a hot seller in 2012. It includes 34 pieces and is available for immediate shipment.

Happy New Year’s Eve! I hope you are busy prepping your festivities for the evening! I usually don’t have extravagant plans to ring in the New Year, and this year is the same. I will be making a big roaster full of pork and sauerkraut and watching the ball drop on the television in my living room. Can’t hold this party animal back! Haha!
My family usually brings out the board games, the sparkling grape juice, and the laughs. We spend the evening enjoying each other’s company and trying to beat one another in one of the new games my kids got for Christmas, stopping only to countdown and welcome the brand New Year! It is a blast!
Barbara Lloyd couldn’t have summed it up any better with this new sampler. Family definitely is LOVE.
If you are heading out this evening, have a safe and enjoyable New Year! Welcome, 2012! How do you ring in the New Year?
Happy New Year!

Hi there, and Happy Friday!
I still can’t get over the fact that we only have one more day until January. How has your week been? Are you busy thinking about those resolutions?
I don’t know if I will have an actual “resolution” this year. I’m might just carry over mine from last year, and maybe add another one… or ten. I’m pretty proud of how last year worked out, so I’m going to make 2012 another great year. I’m going to work on being less stressed out, keep my money in check, and take time for ME and learn to say NO when I need to. It’s always such a hard lesson! I’ll be spending time figuring out what makes me happy, and really dedicating myself to that. Life is too short to be miserable for even one day!
I hope the first week of 2012 will be great for you. I’d love to hear how you’re planning on sticking to your resolutions!
Have a great weekend,
Anne
